Big Proof of Small Town

This is a 36" x 48" woodcut proof (black ink on newsprint).

It is the first woodcut I have tried at that size and the first proof off the new press.

Not sure if it is a strong enough image to pursue...

Cutting color blocks and spending the time printing it twenty times will take a couple of weeks,

not to mention about $500 dollars worth of paper and ink.

I can see two separate images that would be stronger if I ripped the block into two smaller pieces.

Any opinions?

I think it's very cool looking, and I like the idea of a huge print like that too. My wife liked it b/w, and I'm not sure how color would work with it, but I can definitely imagine it looking nice with color too.
